Seven Days To Fall In Love With Barcelona, Spain

Day Four

Right next door to our hotel is Santa Caterina Market where we ate a marvelous breakfast at L’Univers and drank fresh mango juice from a fruit vendor inside the market. Notice all of the fresh seafood we were surrounded by in the pictures!

Bikini (cheese & ham sandwich), eggs & bacon, cappuccino

We cruised around El Born

This day we had another planned activity that we had bought tickets for in advanced…the Picasso Museum. When we purchased tickets we added the option to have the audio tour, which we highly recommend! The museum was one of our absolute favorite things we did on our trip. After the museum we had lunch at Via Margutta for pizza and wine on the patio (3 min walk from the museum).

Our next adventure was to grab a taxi and head up to Montjuรฏc Mountain to check out the area. The taxi did not drop us off where we would have liked, unsure if it was because of the language barrier or our bad directions, but we did some moderate hiking on a nice trail that led us to the castle. The views were breath taking!

We ended our night at a restaurant in El Born and enjoyed happy hour drinks in a secret room called the Punch Bowl back at our hotel.
