Day Six
As we walked down the street of the Barcelona Cathedral we saw a socialism march and turned into a restaurant called Laietana for an early lunch. We both ordered pasta dishes (carbonara and pesto ravioli) which was delectable. With no planned activities, we decided to wander the streets of Eixample to look at the beautiful architecture we had hurried by the first day.
As evening began, we ate dinner at Txirimiri stuffing our faces with sausage tapas and hamburgers washed down with an expensive bottle of blanco wine. As we walked around some more we entered a small bar (of course we cannot remember what the name of the bar was) and it has a really cool vibe with modern art and signs behind the bar, it also made us realize that gin is very popular in Barcelona. Of course after you have some drinks, you have to have dessert! We found scrumptious gelato at Dino.
Crema Catalan & Chocolate
On our way back towards the hotel we stopped at the Cathedral of Barcelona to take some pictures and it was not crowded like it usually was during the day.
